  1. I am really interested in making my own movie. Containing characters, plot, the works. Sounds like fun.

    • Hi Josue ~ Can you give us a sense for what films you enjoy watching (titles, genre, whatever)? You’ll need to figure out how to situate (position) your own ideas within the context of films or genres that already exist. For example, a friend of mine was interested in a film genre called the “Spaghetti Western” (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spaghetti_Western), which was used to refer to films made by Europeans about the American West. He’s originally from Mexico City, and he decided to make a film in Spanish about Europe – he called it a “Taco Eastern.” Check out his trailer here: http://vimeo.com/10592128

So, anyway: You should begin thinking about what kind of genre or story you’re interested in (horror, historical, romance, etc) and think about how your work would be both similar to AND different from things you’ve seen before.

      • Concerning movies i like movies that make you think. Movies that allow the viewer to go deep within the story/plot. Thriller like “Inception”.

Maybe even an ischool horror film.

  3. I have decided to not do horror films anymore. Its just not me. I wasnt as interested in it as i thought. So i decided to do nicknames. Nicknames is me i give everyone nicknames. My overall question is how do nicknames from identity? How do people view these nicknames their given, how is it a part of my life. Groups within school and what names are they associated with.

    🙂

  5. Research:

Nicknames reflect some typical characteristics of a person. Generally, the nicknames are used to express love or close emotional bond with that individual.

Nicknames-symbolising a form of acceptance, but can often be a form of ridicule.

    Hypocorism
