  1. My research question is what goes into the creation of an album and what makes an album successful? I will be researching the things that i need to o in order to produce and album and research people that can help.

  2. I like your idea, it seems like it will be a lot of work but probaby reasonable for the amount of time we have. How far back are you going to look for successful albums? Looking back is good but it would also be interesting if you researched the change and similarities from why an album was successful and why it is now. I know now the internet changed a lot of how albums are being promoted and if it is successful or not.
    Just a thought

  3. I think that this is a really good project for you for the fact that you being one of my best friends I know how passionate you are about singing and wanting to achieve a successful career in the music industry. I would like to see the outcome and not the obvious that everybody knows which is you need to put in hard work, but what besides that makes an album successful?

  4. I actually changed my idea: I am going to look at the problem of how music is derivative. And I will be creating a visual album of spoke word about the problem.

  5. Hey Alisa – it’s great to see how your ideas have evolved. Are there examples you can post here of what you’re kind of thinking about? Examples of spoken word, examples of a visual album? These are called precedents – projects that are similar to what you’d like to do.
